HSWT

The core values of the HSWT revolve around fostering a sustainable society, nurturing a competitive economy, and promoting responsible use of the environment and natural resources. Our research topics focus on criticial – but indispensable – fields such land use, nutrition and health, climate change, biodiversity and environmental precaution, renewable resources, renewable energy and energy efficiency.

In the seven departments at our two campuses, we cover ecological, technical and economic topics in 19 Bachelor’s and 13 Master’s degree programmes, of which 8 with an international focus. At both Weihenstephan and Triesdorf campuses, we offer our students extensive, practice-oriented expertise in teaching and research in these subject areas:

That’s why we also offer 14 dual study programmes where part of the training takes place in a company.
