From 27 to 29 October 2025, the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT) hosted the ReGrow Study Visit in Triesdorf, bringing together representatives from partner institutions across Georgia, Ukraine, Greece, and Germany.
Over the course of three days, the delegation explored HSWT’s long-standing experience in agricultural education, farm management, and cutting-edge precision farming technologies.
The programme included in-depth exchanges on HSWT’s academic model and international engagement, with detailed presentations on the Master’s in Farm Management, the Practical Semester (Praxissemester), opportunities for Online Semester participation, and HSWT’s portfolio of professional training courses.
Participants also visited the Competence Centre for Digital Agribusiness (KoDA), where they received a guided tour of the facilities and an introduction to the Master’s programme in Green Digital Engineering. The visit continued with field demonstrations at local farms implementing digital and precision agriculture solutions.
The study visit concluded with a tour of HORSCH Maschinen GmbH, offering participants the opportunity to learn about the company’s innovative machinery and advanced precision farming systems through a guided walkthrough of the production site.
