SNAU is one of the leading agricultural universities in Ukraine, with the highest level of accreditation. More than 11,000 students study at its 8 faculties and 6 regional colleges. Since 2011, the university has been working with international students. SNAU trains specialists in various fields and awards the following degrees: junior specialist (13 specialities); bachelor (28 specialities); master (34 specialities); PhD (12 specialities).
University has introduced twinning programs at MS level jointly with Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, Germany (International Farm Management) and with Royal Agricultural University, United Kingdom (Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security). Both master programs were accredited by European Accreditation Agencies (ACQUIN and ZEvA).
The university is known for its close ties with local and international businesses, has modern laboratories and a unique green campus equipped with comfortable dormitories, a library, a canteen, classroom buildings with barrier-free access, greenhouses, gardens and research fields
