Euroregion “Dniester”

Euroregion “Dniester” was established as a cross-border cooperation body — an association of local authorities from administrative-territorial units of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova. It is not an alternative to local administrations, was not created to form a new administrative structure, does not act against the interests of the national states, and does not function as a higher legal entity.

The main purpose of the creation and operation of Euroregion “Dniester” is to implement programmes for the integrated and harmonised development of the territories adjacent to the Dniester River.
