Universities and research institutions increasingly collaborate across countries to modernise agricultural education, exchange knowledge and prepare graduates with the skills needed for a rapidly changing sector. International partnerships allow institutions to combine expertise, compare educational approaches and develop programmes that reflect both local priorities and global developments.
The ReGrow project demonstrates this approach by bringing together universities and organisations from Georgia, Ukraine, Germany and Greece. Together they are developing innovative curricula, sharing expertise, creating digital learning environments and strengthening institutional capacity.
International cooperation also promotes joint research, academic mobility and long-term collaboration between higher education institutions, industry and agricultural stakeholders. Students gain broader perspectives, exposure to innovative technologies and experience in an international learning environment.
