Polissia National University (PU)

Polissia National University is the only national higher education institution in the Zhytomyr Region, serving as a key training provider for various sectors of the economy in Polissia (Zhytomyr, Rivne, and Volyn Regions). The university consists of 7 faculties, 20 departments, and 6 research and innovation institutes, with more than 5,000 students and 299 members of the teaching staff. It specializes in fields such as agronomy, organic agriculture, ecology, forestry, veterinary medicine, aquaculture, livestock production technology, space monitoring, IT, law, economics, management and many others (over 30), addressing the growing demands of the labor market. The university is committed to advancing research and education, aiming to play a central role in the Polissia region by restoring agricultural growth in post-conflict Ukraine.
